Shawna M. Kitzman

Board Member

Shawna is an award-winning project manager and the CT Market Lead for Toole Design. Working with clients throughout the Northeast, she leads dynamic stakeholder engagement and planning for bicycle and pedestrian, roadway safety, and transit projects.

Shawna earned her Master of Sustainable Transportation from University of Washington and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art. Merging her technical and creative skills, Shawna’s mission is to increase the safety and enjoyment of streets and public spaces.

Shawna is an avid pedestrian who enjoys a strong cup of coffee and impromptu dance parties with her husband, three kids, and untrained dog.
